Refunds & Payments
This policy covers paid event tickets and Rendezva Premium. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹).
Platform fee
For organizer-hosted paid tickets, Rendezva charges a 3% total platform commission (1.5% customer-side + 1.5% organizer-side), with no fee cap.
- The customer-side 1.5% fee, plus GST on that fee, is added at checkout.
- Event GST (when applicable) is calculated separately from the platform service fee.
- Example: a ₹1,000 exclusive ticket with 18% event GST totals about ₹1,197.70 at checkout (ticket + event GST + customer fee + fee GST).
- Organizer settlement is the ticket base after organizer fee, GST on that fee, TCS (when configured), and any refunds — not a simple “ticket − 3%” formula.
- Platform-owned events do not apply organizer commission or organizer settlement.
Attendee refunds
- If the organizer allows cancellation, you can request a refund until the organizer’s deadline (days before the event).
- Eligible refunds are 100% of the amount you paid (the checkout total on your receipt).
- Refunds are not available after you check in, or after the deadline.
- Approved refunds are sent back through Cashfree to the original payment method.
Organizer changes while cancellation is open
- If cancellation or refund is enabled, organizers may update key event details (such as date, venue, capacity, visibility, and related policy) while that window is open.
- Those detail edits stop 24 hours before the cancellation window closes, so attendees still have time to cancel if plans change.
- Material updates notify registered attendees in-app (and via the event broadcast feed where applicable).
- If cancellation/refund is disabled, protected details stay locked once registration history exists.
Organizer payouts
- Ticket money is collected by Rendezva’s payment account.
- Settlement is deferred until the cancellation window and the 7-day hold after the event ends.
- Organizer earnings are settled through Cashfree Easy Split after vendor verification, using the settlement engine net (not gross ticket − 3%).
Premium
Premium is ₹199 / month during a limited-time deal (usual price ₹299 / month), or ₹2,189 / year during the same deal (usual price ₹3,289 / year; 11 months billed, 1 month free). Premium fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or if checkout fails.
